AI in business travel: Efficiency engine or compliance risk?

AI enhances compliance and cost control, driving stronger policy adherence while simultaneously presenting risks, such as fraud, data misuse and algorithmic bias.

Insights from the SAP Concur 7th Annual Global Business Travel Research Report show that,

  • 99% of travel managers and 88% of business travellers are comfortable with AI supporting travel booking or rebooking.
  • At the same time, 10% of business travellers suspect that their colleagues may falsify receipts using AI, while 22% believe it's very likely to happen.
